Fidelis Care Announces Upcoming Medicare Seminars In Oswego

OSWEGO, NY – Fidelis Care, the New York State Catholic Health Plan serving more than 424,000 members in 41 counties across the state, will host free Fidelis Medicare Advantage seminars for Oswego residents who are
eligible for Medicare and want answers about coverage and benefits.

The information sessions will be held Fridays at 2 p.m., Oct. 17 through Dec. 26, at Ponderosa Steak House, 147 George St.

Experts from Fidelis Care will explain the benefits of Fidelis Medicare Advantage and answer attendees’ questions. A light snack will be provided.

Fidelis Care offers Fidelis Medicare Advantage in 22 counties and Fidelis Dual Advantage for residents eligible for Medicaid and Medicare in 17 counties, with both available in Oswego County.

Fidelis Care is one of the largest health plans offering government-sponsored health programs in New York State.

It was founded on the belief that all New Yorkers should have access to affordable, quality health insurance.

Through the Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid programs, members are covered for regular checkups, preventive care, hospital and emergency care, eye exams, dental care, and more.

Partners in Community Care, a managed long-term care program for adults, is also available in Orange and Rockland counties.

Fidelis Care members have access to a provider network of more than 30,000 health care professionals statewide. Regional offices are located in Syracuse, Amherst, Albany, and Rego Park (Queens), with satellite offices
in Rochester and Poughkeepsie.
