The Hannibal Volunteer Fire Department recently visited Fairley Elementary School to educate students about fire safety.
Volunteer firefighters Carl Emmons Jr., Jordan Patrick, Chris Miner, Richard brand and Carl Emmons III participated in the presentation, in which students learned about fire prevention and equipment and tools used to fight fires.
Students were excited to see how firetrucks’ hose systems operate and they also toured the firetrucks.
Students asked several questions before they thanked the firefighters for the visit.
