OSWEGO, NY – As the holiday break approached second graders at the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School enjoyed a day to “cuddle up and read.”
Teachers Cari Joyce, Andrea Latta and Josh Lerch created an exciting day for their students.
Lerch’s second graders had a chance to spend the day in pajamas and experience puzzles, quizzes and reading.
Throughout the day visitors read a variety of holiday oriented stories to the second graders.
Visiting the classrooms were Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist, Director of Literacy Laura Ryder, Principal Donna Simmons, District Clerk Bill Foley and JoAnne Geroux along with teachers Chris Haessig, Donna Miles and Cindy Pauldine.
