
OSWEGO, NY – Fitzhugh Park second graders wore their pajamas, brought along their favorite stuffed animal and enjoyed “Cuddle Up and Read Day” on Friday (the final day before break).
Children, in Cari Joyce’s classroom, spent the day listening to stories, but also focusing on reading and writing.
Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Curriculum Cathy Chamberlain read one of her favorite holiday books to the students.
Second graders in Andrea Latta’s second grade classroom at Fitzhugh Park Elementary School enjoyed listening as Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist shared one of his favorite books.
The students listened intently on the “Cuddle Up and Read Day” at Fitzhugh Park.
