OSWEGO, NY – Fort Ontario Ghost Tour tickets will be available for sale by the Friends of Fort Ontario under the big tent at Pumpkin Fest on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets cost $8 for the public and $5 for Friends members.
Tours are scheduled in 10-minute increments and group sizes are limited; no walk-ons will be allowed on the nights of the tours.
Ghost tours will be offered on Oct. 23, 24, and 25, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Proceeds from the Ghost Tour will go towards restoration, interpretation, special events, and other projects at the fort.
Fort Ontario hooded and unhooded sweatshirts, T-shirts, hats, mugs, and various souvenirs will also be available for purchase at the Friends of Fort Ontario booth at the fest.
The Friends of Fort Ontario is a not-for-profit educational organization, with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Fort Ontario State Historic Site is one of six historic sites and 18 parks in the Central Region administered by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Carol Ash – Commissioner.
