Fort Ontario Welcomes Army ROTC Class

OSWEGO, NY – Fort Ontario State Historic Site recently hosted a group of seniors from the Army ROTC program at Syracuse University.

The students, who will be commissioned this summer, are studying military operations and tactical maneuvers.

Their visit included a tour of the grounds and an on-site class with Site Manager Paul Lear to conduct battle analysis of the War of 1812.
