Friendly’s Helps Catholic Charities Lick Hunger

OSWEGO, NY – Friendly’s Restaurant in Oswego recently hosted a Friendly’s Family Fun Night to help Catholic Charities of Oswego County ‘Lick Hunger’ in our community.

Friendly’s donated 10% of all its sales from Friendly’s Family Fun Night to Catholic Charities of Oswego County.

General manager of Friendly’s, Patrick Dewine, said the restaurant was happy to support Catholic Charities.

“Friendly’s is committed to supporting our community. Hosting the Family Fun Night was a great way to bring community members together in support of such a worthwhile cause as Catholic Charities. It also provides us with an opportunity to give something back to our community,” he said.

“We truly appreciate Friendly’s generosity,” said director of Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services program, Helen Hoefer. “Our food pantry is experiencing a tremendous demand for food subsidy. The support we receive from caring businesses such as Friendly’s is essential as we continue our mission of helping families in need.”
