OSWEGO, New York – Oswego’s own southern rock band, Frostbit Blue, is set to perform this summer at the Rev & Rock Classic Rock Festival at Oswego Speedway, according to Chuck Handley, Chairman of the Rev & Rock Festival Committee.
The event, to be held this upcoming Saturday, August 14th on the infield of Oswego Speedway, will kick off at 2:00 p.m. and include live music, multiple food vendors and attractions, high energy and relaxation. Gates open at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale for just $20 per person.
Founded in Oswego, NY in the mid to late 1980’s, Frostbit Blue’s fame spans Central and Southern NY. Their two most popular CD’s, “Ice Breaker†and “Just What The Doctor Ordered†have sold over 18,000 copies since 2006.
Throughout their tours, the band has shared the stage with artists such as Marshall Tucker, Charlie Daniels, 38 Special, Blue Oyster Cult, Dicky Betts, Gov’t Mule, Steppenwolf and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Frostbit Blue is made up of six very talented musicians including Nick Gravelding, guitar/vocals; Tom McCaffrey, guitar/vocals; Benny Fiacco, bass; John Bletch, drums; Dave Hawthorn, guitar/vocals/harmonica; and Bill Barry, keyboards/vocals.

According to Handley, Rev & Rock guarantees its audience a diverse collection of music and entertainment throughout the day. All four-tribute bands will provide a unique compliment to some of the music industry’s greatest performers of the past 50 years.
