Frosty to Appear at Hannibal Library’s Festival of Trees

HANNIBAL, NY – The 4th Annual Festival of Trees, a silent auction hosted by the Hannibal Free Library, will include a special category of trees and wreaths decorated in the theme of “Frosty the Snowman.”

There will be a people’s choice award voted by the attending public for the best tree and wreath in this category.

The event takes place at the Library/Community Center on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Many types of trees and wreaths will be on view and ready for bidding. The festival’s silent auction is part of Hannibal’s “A Country Christmas.” There will be free refreshments, crafts for children and a chance to win doorprizes. Admission is free.

The library is looking for people, groups and organizations to make donations. Questions can be answered or donation forms obtained by calling Linda at 564-6643, or by visiting or calling the library at 564-5471.
