FULTON, NY – Fulton Community Theatre will hold open auditions for the first production of its 2016 season, “The Mating Game,” a comedy of sex or consequences by Robin Hawdon.
Auditions will be held on December 7 and 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. each day at the home of the production’s director, Michael A. Bolio, 692 Maple Ave.
No preparation is necessary; auditioners will read scenes from the script.
The production will run in dinner theatre at Tavern On The Lock Restaurant in Fulton, weekends February 5 through 14.
Set in a smart London apartment, full of gadgets with a mind of their own, the play concerns the frantic attempts of a trendy young TV personality, Draycott Harris, to both lose his virginity and avoid true love, whilst at the same time preserving his image as a notorious stud.
The play first opened in London’s West End in 1974 and has been a very popular staple in theatres worldwide since then.
The two male, three female cast of characters include:
Draycott Harris – a young TV personality
James Harris – Draycott’s older brother
Honey Tooks – his PR Girl
Julia – his secretary
Mrs. Finney – his Housekeeper
All roles are open.
