Fulton CYO Announces Annual Christmas Party

FULTON, NY – The CYO Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will hold its annual Christmas party on Dec. 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

The party is open to all boys and girls in grades K to 6.

Admission is free and children will enjoy a variety of games and contests as well as making Christmas crafts.

The party will also feature refreshments, treats and at 5p.m. there will be a visit from a very special guest!

Last year more than 70 children attended the CYO Christmas party.

Director of Catholic Charities’ CYO program, Jim Smiley, anticipates an even larger turn out this year.

“It’s a fun holiday event and the children really enjoy themselves. The staff is looking forward to it and has some great activities and surprises planned for the children. Of course, the visit from our special guest is always a highlight,” said Smiley.

The Christmas party will be held at the CYO, 365 W. First St.

In the event that CYO is closed due to inclement weather on Dec. 15, the party will be held on Dec. 16.

The CYO program, funded in part by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services through the Oswego City / County Youth Bureau, has designed a variety of activities to aid in the recreational and educational development of youth in Fulton, as well as the surrounding communities of Oswego County.

All activities are free of charge and are supervised by a trained staff.
