Fulton CYO Expands Hours For Spring Break

FULTON, NY – Program coordinator Jim Smiley announced that the CYO program of Catholic Charities of Oswego County would be extending its hours and offering additional gym time for the upcoming spring break.

Open gym time will be available April 16 and 19 through April 23 from 1 to 5 p.m.

April 17 and 24 there will be open gym time from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On April 21, the CYO program will host a special matinee movie for youth 5 to 12 years old.

The movie Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs will be shown from 2 to 4 p.m.

Parents are invited. However, the CYO staff will provide adult supervision in the event that parents are not able to attend.

The movie will be shown free of charge and includes refreshments including free popcorn.

The CYO program will resume regular hours on April 26.

Regular hours for CYO are Monday through Friday 3 to 6 p.m. for grades K-8, Tuesday and Thursday 6 to 9 p.m. for grades 7 through 12, and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for grades K through 12.

The CYO program, funded in part by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services through the Oswego City / County Youth Bureau, has designed a variety of activities to aid in the recreational development of youth in Fulton, as well as the surrounding communities of Oswego County.

All activities are free and are supervised by a trained staff.

Primary funding sources for Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s programs are the United Way of Greater Oswego County, the Diocesan Hope Appeal, the County of Oswego and private donations by individuals and local companies and organizations.
