FULTON – Local foundation Best Development of the Arts recently presented a donation to Quirk’s Players, the theater troupe of Fulton’s G. Ray Bodley High School. The donation is intended to support the school’s upcoming musical production of Footloose.

Jean Niver, a member of the Best Development of the Arts Board of Directors, presented a check to the troupe at a recent rehearsal. The generous donation will help meet some of the many expenses associated with this year’s musical production. The organization regularly supports the development of the arts within Oswego County.

“We sincerely appreciate the support of the Best Development of the Arts,” stated Fulton Teacher Tom Briggs and Theatre Director at G. Ray Bodley High School.  “Their generosity provides wonderful opportunities for our students.  They provide support to the arts in our community and we thank them for helping make Footloose possible.”

The production of Footloose opens Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Additional performances run on Friday, March 8 (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday March 9, which includes two performances (2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.). Tickets are available online or at the door.
