FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian LaVerne DeLand introduced Marie Mankiewicz and Brittney Jerred who have been working to establish a cohesive plan, with community support, to link Fulton’s eight walking trails and 12 city parks.

The Fulton Community Revitalization Corp, a non-profit, will be the lead agency for grants.
The first goal is to get a feasibility study done.
There is focus on both short-term and long-term with plans already under way to do a brochure and map through Oswego County Tourism and Planning.
Other priorities include tale trail (books along the walkways), signs, benches, historical notations, and gardens.
A kickoff is planned for June 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in conjunction with OCO’s fitness programs.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s in Fulton.
