FULTON, NY – Nearly a dozen G. Ray Bodley High School students got a financial boost for college, thanks to a handful of scholarships that were awarded Monday morning.

The Academic Excellence Scholarships are awarded to 8,000 New York state students annually, with up to 2,000 awards of $1,500 per year and 6,000 awards of $500 per year.
After earning high marks on Regents exams throughout their high school careers, GRB students Makenna Cealie and Kaitlyn Kinney each earned the $1,500 annual scholarship.
The $500 awards went to Lexi Abelgore, Jacob Batchelor, Jacob Belcher, Jennah Lamb, Geoffry Michaels, Nicholas Reitz, Amanda Rice, Madden Rowlee and Taylor Smithers.
