FULTON – Fulton Junior High School student musicians recently kicked off Music in Our Schools Month with an evening of tunes.
Under the direction of Stephanie Almeter, the seventh grade chorus took the stage in the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium to set the tone for the night.
Students sang upbeat pop songs such as “Walking on Sunshine” and “This is Me.”
The seventh grade band followed suit with “Havana” and other hits before making way for the orchestra’s performance of three songs, including “Into the Sky.”
Following the seventh grade portion of the concert, eighth grade students showcased their talents with several vocal and instrumental performances to wrap up the evening.
