Glen “Gomez” Adams will be the host comic for the Fulton Lions Club’s Mane Event Comedy Night set for Friday, February 6, 2026.
FULTON, N.Y. – The Fulton Lions Club has announced that they will be hosting their annual Mane Event comedy night with comedian Glen “Gomez” Adams and on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Fulton Polish Home. There will also be an additional comic on the program and information on tickets and packages in an upcoming release. All proceeds raised will benefit community members in need.
“We are asking fans of this event to save the date and we will be sharing more details in early January 2026.,” said Melissa Champion, Fulton Lions president. “Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. There will also be a 50-50 drawing and a raffle for a ticket in our next Lions Loot Sweepstakes.”
Glen “Gomez” Adams is from Marcellus, and he has been a fixture in local media since 1981. In the summer of 1983, he did the overnight show on what was Magic 104.7 that later became country station B104.7. In 1984, he was hired by y94FM where he hosted “Club Gomez” at nighttime and moved on to the morning show with “Big Mike” Fiss. In 1994, he joined the morning show on Classic Rock TK99, which also became the flagship radio station for Syracuse University sports. He hosted the award-winning Coach Boeheim call-in show for 25 years and continues to host the show with new Syracuse Basketball Head Coach Adrian Autry. He has been a co-host on Newschannel 9’s Bridge Street show and is very active performing in local comedy clubs and promoting local comedy shows.
The Fulton Lions Club helps the community with a variety of projects and services by their annual fundraising events such as the Lions Loot Sweepstakes and Charby’s Duck Derby.
