
FULTON, NY – The Fulton Lions Club recently donated $500 to the Fulton YMCA who is hosting the YMCA Speed Demons District swim meet on February 1 and 2 at the Granby Elementary School pool in Fulton. The competing teams are from Auburn, Cortland, Norwich, Oneonta, Oneida, Watertown, Skaneateles, and Fulton. The Fulton Speed Demons above, are joined by the coaches and parent group officers, back row, from left: Jennifer Fancett, Teddy Clayton, Jim LaDue, Lisa Doran, Lions Past President Brett Tallents, Rachael Guernsey, Kevin Austin and Christina Passucci. The swimmers’ ages range from six to 18 years, and Fulton is fielding 55 swimmers. The Fulton Lions Club, known for their Lions Loot Sweepstakes, annual Duck Derby, and Mane Event Comedy Night, provides financial assistance for those in need of eyeglasses, eye exams and hearing aids to residents in the Greater Fulton area.
