Fulton Lions Install Guyer As President And New Slate Of Officers For 2024-25

The Fulton Lions Club installed David Guyer  as their new president and its slate of officers for 2024-25 at its recent June meeting. This is the fourth time Guyer has served as club president. The ceremony was performed by Past President Brett Tallents. Immediate Past President Patrick Devendorf left, hands the president’s gavel to Guyer.

 

FULTON, NY – The Fulton Lions Club installed David Guyer as their new president and its slate of officers for 2023-24 at its recent June meeting. The ceremony was performed by Past President Brett Tallents. This is the fourth time Guyer has served as club president.

Other officers installed included Melissa Champion, vice president; Michelle Stanard, secretary; Susan Daratt, treasurer; Ron Browning, assistant treasurer; Patrick Devendorf, immediate past president; Melodye Morrison, lion tamer; Brett Tallents, assistant Lion tamer; Gail Jones, membership chair; Steve Chirello, marketing chair and one-year director; Becky Devendorf; service chair; Dennis Rupert, one-year director; and David Wolford and David Dingman as two-year directors.

Among the new officers installed at the Fulton Lions Club’s June were, from left: Michelle Stanard, secretary; Susan Daratt, treasurer, Dave Wolford, two-year director; President David Guyer; Ron Browning, assistant treasurer; David Dingman, two-year director; Melodye Morrison, Lion tamer; Patrick Devendorf, immediate past president; Becky Devendorf, service chair; Melissa Champion, vice president; Dennis Rupert, one-year director; and Brett Tallents, assistant Lion tamer.

“Chartered in 1953, our club continues to be one of the most active in our district,” Guyer said. “Our ongoing success is linked with the all-out effort to serve that comes from each and every one of our members. We look forward to our upcoming Charby’s Duck Derby on  September 8, to kick-off our next year of service to the greater Fulton community.”
