Fulton Noon Rotary Learn About Friends of History

FULTON – The Fulton Noon Rotary Club recently listened to a presentation by John Finocchiaro from the Friends of History in Fulton. John is President of the organization and has been a member for several years.
The Friends of History is headquartered at the Pratt House located at 177 South First Street in Fulton. John Wells Pratt and his wife constructed the house in 1861 and it remained in the Pratt family until 1975. In 1979 the house was saved from demolition and became a museum. The rooms hold several exhibits; some permanent, some change seasonally.
The museum is maintained by gifts, donations, grants and funding efforts of the Board of Directors. It is run primarily with volunteers.
Fulton Noon Rotary meets at 12:00 noon on the first three Thursdays of the month at the Tavern on the Lock in Fulton.
