Fulton Public Library Presents Insect Comedy

Submitted article

Fulton Public Library will be presenting “Insect Comedy” by Diane Edgecomb on Saturday, August 9th at 2 pm.  This will be the second show of the Children’s Summer Reading Program.  Please join the library for some fun and laughs.

“Insect Comedy” takes a delightful look at our six-legged friends.  In “Princess Firefly”, entertaining facts are served up along with plenty of silliness as the insect princess ponders, “Who will be the bug that I will love?”  “Kate’s Acorn”, one of Diane’s original stories, teaches about the importance of soil creatures in the life cycle of plants and tells us just how many funny little bugs can hide under one rock!  In another backyard story we learn when to keep and when to let insects go.  Diane’s hilarious interpretations of Mr. Mosquito, Mr. Gnat and Old King Lampyradie Beetle keep people laughing.
