FULTON, NY – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Brian Waite, son of club president Patrick Waite, presented a program about nuclear energy.

He is a senior at RPI majoring in nuclear and mechanical engineering and a
member of the American Nuclear Society.
He had a Powerpoint and presented an overview of how nuclear energy is generated and how basic power generation boils water to become electricity as made at the Scriba plants.
Brian explained several facts and myths concerning nuclear energy and how it
affects our living matter.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.
