Fulton Rotary Clubs Work Together to Support the Oswego County Diaper Bank

FULTON – The Fulton Noon and Fulton Sunrise Rotary Clubs held a friendly competition at the CNY Community Arts Center as part of the clubs’ diaper drive. The goal was to support the Oswego County Diaper Bank with donations of diapers. The diaper bank is part of the Early Childhood Alliance and is coordinated by Brandy Koproski of Integrated Community Planning of Oswego County. Families in need can receive 50 diapers per child 5 and under, per month to help offset the cost of diapering.

The donation drive was paired with a trivia night and pot luck held at the CNY Community Arts Center. For trivia, teams were randomly assigned by combining the Noon and Sunrise members, encouraging Rotarians from both clubs to get to know each other.

The rousing evening was a hit with gags like “the dirty diaper award” and “smartest nut” trophies; there was great attendance and participation from both clubs. More importantly, the event also collected 3,498 diapers for the community.
