Submitted by the Fulton Rotary Club
Rotarian, Merrill Hoffman, right, introduced the Men’s quartet from the First United Church of Fulton. The group includes: David Nethercott, left, first tenor: Ben Holroyd, 2nd tenor; Burt Phillips, baritone; and Merrill Hoffman as bass.
Merrill gave a brief history of the group. He introduced the “United Voices†and then the singing started. They started with ‘America the Beautiful’ and finished with ‘Nothing like a Dame’ from the musical South Pacific. The songs also included some classic hymns, Southern Gospel, and ‘My Wild Irish Rose’. This most entertaining program was enjoyed by all the Rotarians present.
