FULTON – Fulton student Josephine Smith talked about her experiences at the recent Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) at SUNY Oneonta at a meeting of the Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club. RYLA is an intensive leadership training program for high school students, featuring team-building workshops, communication exercises, and ethical discussions. Smith, heading into her senior year at G. Ray Bodley High School, said it was a great experience, full of learning and new connections. She plans to study biomedical science in college.
