Fulton Sunrise Rotary member Peggy Donnelly was awarded the Paul Harris Fellow Award. The award is the highest honor bestowed by a club on a Rotarian or community member. It is given as a recognition of the substantial contributions the person has made to their community.
Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary, held the first meeting in 1905 in Chicago. Now an international service organization Rotary’s global headquarters is located there. The award was established in 1957. Over 1 million people from different walks of life across the world have been recognized for their “Service Above Self”.
