FULTON – Fulton Sunrise Rotary members recently volunteered at OCO Nutrition Services in Mexico New York. During the visit OCO Nutrition Services employees explained the Home Delivered Meal Program which is available to Oswego County seniors aged 60 and older. Together we packed 250 Blizzard Bags which will be distributed to participants in the senior program. The bags will offer a bit of visual cheer to the folks receiving them. Each one is beautifully decorated with greetings and winter themed artwork created by local children. These special bags, full of non-perishable foods, are made possible through the generosity of local residents, businesses, and service clubs. If winter weather prevents OCO from making home deliveries the Blizzard Bags fill the gap for a meal or two.  OCO Nutrition Services programs have been serving our county for 50 years. They have provided over 10,000,000 meals to county residents of all ages. Fulton Sunrise Rotary continued its commitment to our community by donating to OCO Nutrition Services to help keep the Blizzard Bag supplies stocked.
