Fulton Sunrise Rotary Welcomes Jonah Cummings

FULTON – Jonah Cummings, an Education Coordinator for the CNY Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Alliance, recently visited the Fulton Sunrise Rotary to educate the members on tick prevention, symptom recognition, and prompt treatment.  Jonah himself suffers from the dreaded disease, which heightens his passion to prevent someone else from his fate.  Diligently checking yourself and your pets for ticks, wearing light-colored clothing, and using a repellant are good defenses.  Jonah also handed out tick removal kits to all members.
