FULTON, NY – The Fulton Family YMCA is gearing up for the Loop Around the Lake, a 15K Run/5K Run and 5K Walk.
It will be held Aug. 15.
In addition to the Loop, a new kids’ fun run is being added.
The Fulton Family YMCA is encouraging all children ages 4-12 to participate.
The fun run, a quarter- and one-mile run, will start promptly at 8 a.m. behind the Fulton War Memorial.
Parents are encouraged to escort their children on the course.
All kids are number one and will receive a race number, finisher ribbon and goody bag for participating.
The first 50 kids to enter will receive a commemorative race T-shirt.
Stick around for some light refreshments, and a little entertainment by the Twin Magicians.
The Loop’s 15K /5K Run and 5K Walk will start at 8:30 a.m. at the Fulton War Memorial.
T-shirts will be available to the first 100 registered participants.
Awards for the Loop’s 15K/5K Run and 5K Walk will go to the top three overall male and female 15K runners 5K runners and 5K walkers.
Medals will go to top three in each of the following age groups: 1-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
Early registration is highly recommended to receive a shirt.
Shirt sizes are guaranteed if entered by Saturday for the Loop Around the Lake.
