Fulton’s Annual Fall Celebration Features More Free Family-Friendly Entertainment Than Ever

FULTON – Fulton annual Fall Festival returns Saturday, September 26 to ring in the new season with more food, entertainment and family-friendly fun than ever before. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fulton War Memorial complex along Lake Neatahwanta in Fulton. The event, like all events produced by the all-volunteer Special Events Committee of Fulton, is free for all to attend. Fall Festival 2026 is presented by the Shineman Foundation.

The main stage, free kids’ play activities and food trucks are located in the field behind the ice rink. Merchandise vendors and community organizations offer shopping and community connection inside the rink. The War Memorial building houses the Community Stage.

“Our committee of dedicated volunteers has worked all year to improve the city’s signature festival of the season. We’ve added entertainment and food options while maintaining a free event that families can enjoy together. Our festivals are part of the effort to make Fulton a place where people want to live and others want to visit.” said Dave Bullard, spokesman for the Special Events Committee of Fulton.

Food and drink: There’s no reason to go home hungry or thirsty from Fall Festival. Among the vendors this year are Syracuse’s Toss and Fire Pizza with wood-fired pizzas as well as local favorites Mr. Mike’s Seafood and Shannon’s Hotdogs. Nova’s Pit Stop Sips and Cafe Lemon will offer unique hot and cold beverages and Cruisin’ Cones will swirl ice cream into cones, Epic Events Party Rentals will offer carnival treats, along with other food vendors.

Music: Three of the area’s top musicians will fill the fall air with music. Syracuse-Area Music Award winner Mike Place’s solo show opens the day. The member of legendary regional band Frostbit Blue plays at 10 a.m. He’s followed by award-winning solo artist Bryan Syrell, with duo Lisa Lee and Leo ending the day. The schedule:

Family Entertainment: The heart of Fall Festival is its family-friendly entertainment. Shineman Station returns to offer youngsters a free train ride. There will also be free bounce houses presented by Epic Events Party Rentals, face painting from the G. Ray Bodley Arts Club, a corn pool play area and kids games and activities, including Tic-Tac-Toe, bean bag toss, bowling, Jenga, Connect Four, cornhole, and ladder ball. Kids can also enjoy balloon animals by Starry Skies Balloon Art. In the War Memorial, the Community Stage brings music, magic, exciting demonstrations and adorable animals to visitors. The schedule:

• Belle Royale Dance Academy: 2:00 p.m.

• G & G Animals: 3:00 p.m.

Kids entertainment is presented by Price Chopper/Market 32 of Fulton with support from the Oswego County Youth Bureau.

Shopping and Community: Inside the ice rink, dozens of vendors offer interesting and handmade creations to start one’s Christmas shopping, while community non-profit organizations will be on hand to help connect people to services and programs that can improve their lives and solve problems. Special Events Committee members will also be raffling off prize baskets, courtesy of Jim Latino and the Great Northeastern Whiteout.

There will also be several special youth basketball games on the Fulton Dream Courts, behind the War Memorial.

Fulton’s Fall Festival, presented by Shineman Foundation, is one of four major events created and managed by the non-profit, all-volunteer Special Events Committee of Fulton, N.Y. The roster includes the annual Big Truck Day, Christmas Tree Lighting event and the Community Market. The Special Events Committee is not affiliated with any governmental organization.
