Fundraiser To support Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry

OSWEGO, NY – Catholic Charities of Oswego County has partnered with Port City Café & Bakery for special fundraising night to support of the agency’s food pantry.

On Oct. 20, Port City Café & Bakery, 209 W. First St., Oswego, will donate up to 15% of all its sales from 4 to 8 p.m. in support of the Food Pantry at Catholic Charities of Oswego County.

The food pantry serves hundreds of families and individuals throughout Oswego County.

It is in need of support to help meet the increasing demand for food subsidy in Oswego County.

“We are seeing an increase in the numbers of families visiting our food pantry for help,” said Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County, Mary-Margaret Pezzela-Pekow. “We are very grateful for this opportunity and I encourage the community to come out to help support the efforts of our food pantry and enjoy the delicious food available at Port City Café & Bakery.”
