Alton Brown, food personality on Food Network, said about Heifer “By providing animals and training needed to manage them, Heifer International makes it possible for impoverished individuals, families, and communities around the world to feed themselves. That kind of self-reliance leads self-respect, and a future worth living for.”

Heifer International isn’t just about sustainable farming.

They’re about sustainable lives.

Ginny’s daughter, Abby, is working with Heifer in Massachusetts.

She is raising animals that will be sent to various countries.

Heifer was started in 1948 to replenish animals that were destroyed in Europe after World War II. missing or outdated ad config
