Godfrey Memorial Award Presented at Leighton

OSWEGO – Sophia Loayza received the Laurie  Godfrey Memorial Award for Creative Writing at the annual Frederick Leighton award’s assembly.

Lorraine Smith, Laurie’s mother third from left, presented the award.

Gathering together are Sophia’s mother, Inna, and her brother, Alexander (Sasha), along with Frederick Leighton Principal Julie Burger.
