Granby Elementary School held a school-wide assembly recently to honor role model students and celebrate the success of their first six weeks of school.

Led by Granby Elementary Principal Heather Perry, staff and students from kindergarten through sixth grade gathered in the cafeteria for their first Gator Bash.

During this bash students enjoyed a slideshow of photographs, set to music, recapping what they have already learned and accomplished since the start of the school year.

In addition, one student from each class was selected to receive and presented with a Respect Role Model Award for exemplifying extraordinary character and being a positive behavior example for other students.

In addition to being respectful, students at Granby Elementary are encouraged to uphold other positive behavioral virtues such as being responsible, safe, and ready to learn. missing or outdated ad config
