Granby Students Dance the Night Away at Family Kickoff Picnic

Students at Granby Elementary danced the night away at the Family Kickoff Picnic on Sept. 11.

Sponsored by the Parent-Teacher Group, the evening was a huge success with large attendance from students and their families.

Whirlin’ Disc DJ Casey got the kids excited and dancing at the front of the cafeteria as parents took pictures from the sidelines.

Even teachers and Principal Heather Perry jumped in on the fun for the “Cupid Shuffle.”

Two large bounce houses were another big hit among the students; kids formed lines of excitement waiting to take their turn in the red, blue and yellow house.

Moms and dads, sisters and brothers, grandparents and more all enjoyed hot dogs and snacks as they mingled and got to know teachers, setting the tone for what looks to be a great year at Granby Elementary.
