GRANBY – Fourth grade students at Granby Elementary School recently received a taste for what life was like in America during Colonial times.

As part of a hands-on demonstration tying into their social studies curriculum, students learned about several skillsets that were utilized during the colonization of America, thanks to four guest speakers.
Students rotated between the speakers to learn about a different skillset or trade that was popular in 16th and 17th century, including carpentry, quilting, wool fabricating and leather manufacturing.
