OSWEGO, NY – The Grand Commandery Knights Templar of New York conferred three orders and dubbed 14 new knights at a pilgrimage held at Lake City Lodge in Oswego on July 23.
Forty-one members of the Grand Commandery of the State of New York met for a day-long event at Lake City Masonic Lodge 127 in Oswego.
Lake City Victoria Easter Star prepared a sumptuous breakfast and lunch for the knights.
Sir Knight and Rev. George A. Reed organized the pilgrimage with the help of Lady Carol Reed, Zone Commander Burtriss V. Goodnough, Sir Knights Earl Wilson, Bob Delahunt and James Rizzo.
Members of the Grand Line led by Grand Commander James R. MacConneil conducted the three degrees, Order of the Red Cross, Order of Malta, and Order of the Temple.
Sir Knight MacConnell dubbed the 14 new knights for the last time as Grand Commander.
