Great Bear Gets A Trim

Max and Mrs. Steiger hand trim side brush overgrowth, while Zach cuts back along the trail base outer edges.

Working towards their Eagle Badge Conservation Service, Max and Zach Steiger, Boy Scouts with Troop 780, Hannibal, volunteered to trim and cut back overgrowth on Mixed Pines Trail at Great Bear Springs.
Mixed Pines Trail is a popular trail connecting with the Trolley Line and Deer Run Trails.
The boy’s Mom, Mrs. Steiger a committee member, was also a participant with the trail work.
