OSWEGO, NY – The students in the Fitzhugh Park Elementary School, Oswego Middle School and Oswego High School orchestras had a unique opportunity to enjoy a performance by “Alaska’s Fiddling Poet,” Ken Waldman.

Waldman visited these orchestras to share his blend of original poetry and music.
Waldman, who didn’t pick up the violin until age 25 served as a inspiration for students who have gotten off to a much earlier start.
Waldman appeared with Brian Vollmer of Ithaca, as part of our district’s Arts-in-Education program.
