Green Planet Grocery Will Celebrate It’s Twenty Year Anniversary

Green Planet Grocery
OSWEGO – On Saturday, July 20th, the Oswego location of Green Planet Grocery will celebrate it’s Twenty Year Anniversary and they would like to thank the whole community for their support. The store will be open from 9:00 to 7:00, during which customers will get a special discount on every purchase. In addition, from 10:00-3:00 there will be free giveaways, free raffles, tastings and a barbecue (11-2) where folks can purchase a healthy lunch.
In 2004, owner Brent Lewis and former co-owner Scott Skinner opened the store in MidTown Plaza under the original name The Mustard Seed. The mission was to bring healthy food and supplement options to smaller locales where these options may be limited, then staff the store with knowledgeable people who understand nutrition and can best help the community. As the business grew, Mr. Lewis opened a second location in Fairmount, NY, and the name was changed to Green Planet Grocery, now located at Hillside Commons.
The staff of Green Planet would like to thank the community and invites everyone to join in the celebration this Saturday at the times listed above, and hopes to continue their mission of bringing health and wellness to Oswego County for many years to come. They are located at 250 West Seneca Street, in Hillside Commons, right next to Fajita Grill and the American Foundry. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9am-7pm and Sundays 11am-7pm. Find them on Instagram and Facebook at GreenPlanetGroceryOswego or by calling 315-207-0016.
