OSWEGO, NY – Family, friends, local government officials, and business affiliates gathered June 18 at “The Deck†at GS Steamers Bar and Grill for a ribbon cutting – open house ceremony, according to Shane Broadwell, a partner with Broadwell Companies, the family-run entity that owns the Oswego restaurant.
“The Deck,†which is located at 71 E. First St., opened officially for business at GS Steamers on June 13.
The restaurant now offers patrons a beautiful new perspective of downtown Oswego, the Oswego Harbor and Lake Ontario.
A new, expanded lunch and dinner menu, outside bar, drink specials, and seating for up to 125 people compliment the expanded facility.
“We’re very enthusiastic about the feedback we’ve already received from the community with regard to the new deck,†Broadwell said. “The support we gathered from our local development agencies and the city of Oswego helped significantly with the project, and we’re very grateful to everyone who helped allow us to provide this incredible new view of our beautiful harbor.â€ÂÂ
