The H Lee White Marine Museum, located in Oswego’s “Historic Maritime District”, is pleased to announce “Stargazers Night” at 7:30 pm on Friday, September 25, 2009. Doors will open at 7:00 pm.

Join us for a night of stargazing, featuring Dr. Scott Roby, Associate Professor of Astronomy. He will provide information on viewing the night sky in our area. Equipment will be available for closer viewing of the cosmos – observe the stars, planets and full moon through professional equipment. The moon will be in quarter phase and Saturn and Jupiter should be readily visible.

As program size is limited, pre-payment is required and are not able to accommodate large groups. Participants must be age 12 and over. A nominal $8.00 fee ($5.00 for museum members and students with valid ID) will include refreshments and admission to the Museum.
