Hannibal CSD Welcomes New Teachers for 2026-27 School Year

HANNIBAL – The Hannibal Central School District welcomed new teachers for the 2026-27 school year and provided summer orientation to help them prepare for their roles, according to a release from the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation.

Before the school year began, the educators participated in sessions designed to familiarize them with the district, its schools, staff and community. The sessions provided tools, resources and information to help them navigate their new roles.

“We wanted to make sure they feel supported, connected and prepared from day one,” said Assistant Superintendent Meredith Furlong. “Our summer orientation gave them the opportunity to learn about our district, ask questions, connect with colleagues and access resources to feel confident as they began their journey with Hannibal. We are thrilled to welcome them to our Warrior community!”

The orientation covered district expectations, instructional resources, technology, procedures and support available to staff. New teachers also had opportunities to connect with district leaders and colleagues before welcoming students back to school.

The new teachers include Sarah White, Morgan Suslik, Nora Kingsbury, Jenna Cole, Allison Mable, Cynthia Wood, Chelsea Jacobs, Rachel Little, Holt Reed, Tabitha Metz, Patricia Lambeth, Sydney Lusher, Sarah Bame, Kimberly Matteson, Julia Lembach, Wendy Blake and Jennifer Smith.
