On Sunday, September 14 the Hannibal Democratic Committee will host a Corn Roast and Steak Bake picnic at Scott’s Pond in Hannibal to benefit the Oswego County Democratic Committee.
The Corn Roast tickets are $7.00 and include a variety of picnic standards including a hot dog or hamburger, as well as the delicious roasted corn. Steak Bake tickets are $12.00 and include the corn and picnic food, as well as a delicious steak.   A la carte hamburgers and hot dogs will be available to purchase for small children.
Scott’s Pond is a beautiful secluded site with a lovely pond stocked for fishing and a large pavilion. A variety of recreational activities will be available. Sit by the pond and enjoy your meal. Volleyball, horseshoes and fishing are a sample of the possibilities. Bring your fishing pole!
Advance sale tickets are strongly recommended for the steak bake, as only a few extra steaks will be available. Advance sale tickets are also available for the corn roast picnic. The picnic begins at noon. Pre-sale steaks will be held until 2:30pm.
