Hannibal High School Honors Students During Annual Scholarship Night

Hannibal Central School District seniors are all smiles after receiving the Leonard Earle Memorial Award the annual scholarship and awards night.

OSWEGO COUNTY – Hannibal High School recently celebrated the accomplishments of 30 graduating seniors during the school’s annual Scholarship Night, where thousands of dollars in scholarships were awarded through the generosity of local organizations, agencies, private donors and the Hannibal Dollars for Scholars program.

The annual event recognizes students for their academic achievement, leadership, community involvement and future aspirations while providing financial support as they continue their educational journeys.

Hannibal High School Principal Amy Bird congratulated the recipients and thanked the many community partners who make the scholarships possible each year.

“Scholarship Night is one of the highlights of the school year because it celebrates the hard work, dedication and perseverance of our students,” Bird said. “We are incredibly grateful to the organizations, businesses, donors and community members who invest in our students and help them pursue their goals after graduation. Their generosity makes a lasting impact.”

Scholarships and awards were presented to the following students: Alan Stupp, Maya Turaj, Nicholas Kaufman, Harley Somers, Eryka DeRocha, Alex Miller, Olive Somers, Alison Griffin, David Hess, Anna Bartholomew, Connor Wayman, Samantha Hull, Marnie Crough, Logan Ames, Keira Besaw, Owen Gage, Peyton Giles, Alyssa Leonard, Samantha Romanofski, Irelynn Wallace-Kerfien, Naddia Edmondson, Martin VanBuren V, Allie Maynes, Hiro Mangouranes, Eli Chillson, Payton Browngardt, Caleb Moore, Branden Wiggins, Lilliana Fragale and Cole Combes.
