Hannibal Historical Society To Host Author

HANNIBAL – The Hannibal Historical Society will host local author Jim Farfaglia on April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Hannibal United Methodist Church, corner of State Route 3 (Church Street) and West Street in the village.

Farfaglia will talk about his two newly-published books, Voices in the Storm: Stories from the Blizzard of ’66 and In Pursuit of Clouds: The Journey of Oswego’s Weatherman, Bob Sykes.

Farfaglia’s Powerpoint presentation will include photos from the blizzard and its aftermath, and photos from Sykes’ career.

These will accent stories from the blizzard and Sykes’ life that Farfaglia will be telling.

Books will be for sale after the presentation, and refreshments will be served.
