The Fairley Elementary School gymnasium was recently overflowing with pride and joy as a packed crowd came to honor Hannibal’s class of 2028 during its pre-kindergarten graduation.

The ceremony provided family members, friends and teachers the opportunity to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of each of the 64 Pre-K students.
Each student sported a purple graduation cap and received a diploma from their teachers for the dedication and commitment they showed throughout the year.
The students also performed a variety of songs and dance moves, much to the pleasure and amusement of those in attendance.

“The Hannibal district is very happy to offer our Pre-K program. We feel it’s a program that gives our students a stronger foundation in the areas of academics, behavior and social interactions,” said Principal Joseph Musa. “We are all very proud of the students that are sitting before us today, and we are very excited to welcome them into our kindergarten program in the fall.”
