HANNIBAL – A standing-room-only crowd packed into the Hannibal High School auditorium recently for a celebration of music.
The Music in Our Schools Month concert featured all student musicians within the Hannibal Central School District.
Fourth graders kicked off the evening with a choral performance of “The Universal Language,” followed by songs from the middle school chorus and bands.
Building off the high-energy performances of the previous acts, the high school students got in on the action as the senior high chorus wowed the audience with “And So It Goes” and “Loch Lomond.”
The high school band followed suit, with “Amazing Grace” and “Jubilance.”
To conclude the celebration of music, the ensembles combined for the final number as they performed “Remember Me,” bringing the audience to its feet.
