OSWEGO, NY – The visitors and residents in Oswego during Harborfest this year will be able to enjoy festival related Snapchat geofilters from the generosity of Pathfinder Bank in Oswego.

This year, Pathfinder has been kind enough to sponsor all the musical events that will be taking place in Breitbeck Park on July 29. This includes the bands F5, Violet Mary, Stroke, Brass Inc., and Frostbit Blue.
Pathfinder is also sponsoring Harborfest’s volunteer program and is providing all the volunteers with T-shirts for the festival.
Harborfest and Pathfinder have also created a new digital partnership that includes the availability of Snapchat geofilters to the public during the length of Harborfest.
Pathfinder has helped create three fun filters that will be available in Breitbeck Park, Novelis Children’s Park, East Park, the midway and in the Water Street area during the festival.
“Pathfinder Bank is excited to partner with Harborfest to provide festival-goers with three unique geofilters that showcase popular landmarks of the festival. This partnership allows us to engage with the community ‘in the moment’ in a way we haven’t done before,” said James Dowd, CPA, executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at Pathfinder Bank.
Harborfest is one of the few admission-free music festivals in the country.
It was founded with the mission of creating nationally recognized festivals and events that attract and engage a broad and diverse audience, celebrate and build community, and advance economic development in Oswego.
