OSWEGO COUNTY – Fairley Elementary School was bustling with excitement recently as the school hosted its annual Healthy Family Night.

Despite being postponed due to a power outage, the event was a resounding success as local agencies, organizations and businesses were on hand to provide resources to promote healthy minds and bodies. Attendees had an opportunity to participate in various activities, peruse informational booths, stop by the book fair, and enter their names into raffles for a range of prizes.

Event organizers Brittany Meier and Maggie Olon noted they were grateful to all the folks who participated in this year’s event and were able to accommodate the change in schedule.

“Healthy Family Night is all about the community coming together to promote healthy choices and lifestyles, and we truly appreciate everyone who made that possible despite scheduling challenges,” they said. “Our families were able to access some incredible resources all in one place, and we truly appreciate our community partners for their investment in the wellness of our HCSD families.”
